I've eaten at many places in this town but I have to admit this is one of the most friendliest places to eat at around town. The food is above normal and quite tasty filled with some wonderful spices to fulfill all the needs your mouth may be craving for. The chips and salsa fresh with a taste of cilantro and the all ambers and the Rita plate are by far two of the best meals served. They also feature a Mexican cheesesteak nada Jose Burger that are not to be matched anywhere. They also have the best margaritas around featuring a watermelon margarita that is soooo satisfying to the taste buds. And for those still yearning for more try their deep fried cheesecake. They feature a full bar with exotic drinks and a wonderful mixture of fresh sangria. With a wonderful friendly staff that not only goes out of their way for their patrons but actually converse with the customers and take an interest in making sure their dining experience is pleasure able. They are also kid friendly and love to celebrate birthdays Los Alamos style.
We live in Winchester and eat at Los Alamos two or three times a week. We have tried other Mexican restaurants in town but this is our favorite. The fajitas are good, alambre's are good also. Very good waiters and waitresses - also very friendly. I noticed the description about Los Alamos says there is no take out but people are always coming by and taking food home. Yes, there is karaoke. Not sure what night because we don't do karaoke but it is popular. They also have trivia night on Tuesday. Great place to just relax and have some good food!
This is the best Mexican restaurant in Winchester! We've been here many times in the last couple of years and I apologize for not mentioning this sooner. Tonight, my husband ordered Pollo Azteca (chicken, chorizo and shrimp fajitas) for the second time and I ordered the Spinach Quesodiilla and Cheese Burrito for the first time. I also like the Vegetarian Fajitas. He usually gets the regular ones. Absolutely delicious and fresh!! Warning:The margaritas are potent and delicious also. They also have the best chips and thick, fresh salsa for miles around.
